5-Minute Mineral Makeup Application, Ok, you are going to love how easy it is to apply mineral makeup. Let’s get started.
Cleanse and tone your skin with pure, natural products. Apply a good moisturizer or skin serum (this will depend on your skin type) and allow it to absorb completely.
Start with your eye makeup (except mascara). Use an all-purpose eyeshadow brush to sweep color across your lid and dampen an eyeliner brush and use your favorite dark color to give your eyes some definition, if you're up for it.
Do your brows need help? If so, enhance their shape with a matching shadow (Blond works well for almost everyone who can't use a brown or black) and a great brow brush
At this point, wipe any fallen eye product off your cheeks. If it’s just not working for you, start over. Like the old adage says, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. You’ll be a pro in no time. Honest.
Now, on to your foundation!
Spot conceal, if necessary.
Pick up a bit of mineral foundation with your application brush, and swirl the brush in your foundation lid or a small bowl to distribute the powder. Tap off the excess powder, and gently brush the foundation over your face. Apply light layers, and then touch up any areas that require a little extra coverage.
If you like, dampen a flocked sponge with water, mild toner or hydrosol, and lightly blend the powder over your face, to help keep the foundation from settling into lines and pores.
Allow your skin to dry, and then dust on a light application of Satin Finishing Powder.
How much color do you want today? If you want more overall color apply a small amount of bronzer in an "E3" pattern - that is an "E" on the left side of your face (the middle goes out to your nose) and a "3" on the right side (the middle goes across your cheeks and lifts at the nose)
You may still want to apply blush centered on the apple of your cheek for a full look, accentuating your cheekbones for contoured look.
Stand back and make sure you like it all. You can always buff a little color off if it's too strong anywhere.
Now is the time to use your spritzer if you like.
Finally, add mascara and lip color!
